Maria Petridou

Maria graduated with a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Manchester Business School and also holds a Masters degree in Economics from the People's Friendship University of Russia.
After the completion of her studies in Moscow, Maria moved to Cyprus in 2003 where she joined a CySEC-regulated firm - DFG Capital (Cyprus) Limited as the Head of Accounting.
In August 2005 she joined another financial services company regulated by CySEC – Aton International Limited (renamed to UniCredit Securities International Limited after the acquisition by the well-known Italian Financial Holding – UniCredit) as the General Manager / Director. She served in this position until the company was liquidated in 2012.
Maria has more than 17 years of experience in the Financial Services industry in Cyprus specialising in the set up of Investment Firms in Cyprus, managing successfully their operations and ensuring compliance with CySEC requirements.
She was a co-founder of a corporate administration company and was heading the Corporate Services Division and was responsible for services related to Cyprus Investments Firms in Cyprus and Alternative Investments Funds.
Maria joined Grandis Securities Ltd in October 2016 and was responsible for the Licensing process. She is the General Manager and Executive Director of the Company.
Maria is a holder of CySEC Advanced Certificate and AML Compliance Officer Certificate of professional competence.
